Glorious One-Pot Meals was an Award-Winning Finalist in the Cookbooks
category of the National
Indie Excellence 2007 Book Awards!

March brough Elizabeth back to Seattle
for the Northwest Women's Show, where she filmed her cooking class DVD
(on sale now!).

January, 2007, saw a series of joint events
with several other Colorado self-help authors. Dubbed "Making and
Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions", Elizabeth gave five
tips for healthy eating through the new year while the other authors
spoke about spiritual and physical health, managing finances, relationships
and motherhood. The events were held on snowy Colorado weekends at Tattered
Cover in Highlands Ranch, Borders Books at Northglenn and Southwest Plaza,
and Full Moon Books in Lakewood.
 
The Tattered Cover in Highlands Ranch,
CO, warmly welcomed Elizabeth on November 19 to a special cooking event
at this southeast branch of the venerable bookstore. All the staff members
wore their favorite aprons to highlight the event.


November 18, saw Elizabeth back at the
Compleat Gourmet cookware store in Centennial, CO, where she unveiled
a new recipe during her demonstration: Thanksgiving in One-Pot! Check

Home on the Range, the official Viking
Stove and Cookware store in Denver, brought Elizabeth in to demonstrate
her unique method before their discriminating clientele during an evening
open house event on November 14.


Elizabeth returned to The Cupboard cookware
store in Fort Collins, CO, for another afternoon of cooking in northern
Colorado on November 11.

Seattle welcomed Elizabeth at the Seattle
Cooks!! show November 3-5. Elizabeth performed twice on the Chef's stage
there and sold out of cookbooks and Dutch ovens long before the 3-day
event was over. One highlight was a guest spot on local celebrity chef
Tom Douglas' radio show Saturday night. Check the See

In 2006, Glorious One-Pot Meals was an
Award-Winning finalist in both the Cookbooks: General category and the
Diet: Healthy category in the Best
Books 2006 National Book Awards. The cookbook also received a prestigious
EVVY award from the Colorado
Independent Publishers Association.

On September 7, Elizabeth joined fellow
Colorado authors for the "Second Annual Colorado Authors Lend Their
Voices to Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic." Elizabeth was
assigned to record pages from War & Peace. She challenges anyone listening
to that book to find her voice and send her the page numbers that she
read! Hint: It was in the 700s. Good luck!

Elizabeth made her first appearance in
Colorado Springs with a booksigning at the Citadel Barnes & Noble
on June, 29, 2006.

Massachusetts welcomed Elizabeth at independent
grocers in Concord, Cambridge, and Westport in late June, 2006, during
her first cooking demonstration tour stop outside of Colorado. Despite
the nearly constant rainfall, many came to learn firsthand about Glorious
One-Pot Meals.

Mom
Writer's Talk Radio interviewed Elizabeth about her cookbook, how
she invented her unique cooking method, and how she balances her life
as a writing mother. Tune in to hear the whole interview streamed to your

Elizabeth demonstrated her unique cooking
method during the Denver
Junior League's "Kitchens That Cook!" tour of Denver's hottest
kitchens on June 11, 2006. Elizabeth's station was in an incredibly lovely
back yard in the heart of the city -- see the photo below.

The Rocky
Mountain MS Center honored Elizabeth
at a special reception featuring MS authors on June 5, 2006.

The Sunday morning edition of 7News on
May 21st featured Elizabeth together with Tom Stewart of the Rocky Mountain
MS Center discussing nutrition for MS patients and demonstrating Elizabeth's
Sesame-Soy Salmon Glorious One-Pot Meal.

Elizabeth took the stage at the Denver
Cooks!! convention held at the Denver Convention Center May 13-14. Many
fans visited the Glorious One-Pot Meals booth and many more learned about
this new revolution in cooking.

The
Denver Post featured Elizabeth's Glorious
One-Pot Meals cooking technique with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis on

Elizabeth was the keynote speaker for
the Rocky Mountain MS Center's "Recipes for Living with MS"
event, attended by almost 200 people, on May 2. The Rocky Mountain MS
Center Guild's "Tea & Tasting" fundraising event brought
almost 130 patrons out to watch Elizabeth perform a demonstration on April
26.

Colorado & Company, broadcast on KUSA
channel 9 in Denver, featured Elizabeth demonstrating her Olive
and Sundried Tomato Halibut recipe on Monday, May 1. The segment focused
on multiple sclerosis and how it affects the Colorado community.

Glorious One-Pot Meals wishes a teary
farewell to Denver's Cook's Mart cookware store. A wonderful store for
25 years, Cook's Mart has hosted 4 or 5 Glorious One-Pot Meals cooking
demonstrations drawing at least 100 fans, and has sold hundreds of cookbooks
to their customers. They will be sorely missed.

The Philadelphia Inquirer ran
an April 6th story on Glorious One-Pot Meals: Whole in one: There's
an enduring taste for one-pot cooking. Think of the pluses: A rich, easy
meal, and hardly any cleanup. Download

The Cupboard cookware store in downtown
Fort Collins hosted Elizabeth for cooking demonstrations on April 8. The
Fort Collins community turned out to learn this unique cooking method.

Elizabeth took the stage at the Denver
Fine Food & Good Living Festival at the Denver Convention Center on
April 9 and demonstrated her cooking method before a welcoming crowd.

The Complete Gourmet cookware store celebrated
its 22nd anniversary March 18th with storewide discounts and demonstrations
of Glorious One-Pot Meals by Elizabeth.

The Cooking Cardiologist and South Denver
Cardiology Associates featured Elizabeth as a guest chef at their monthly
cooking class on March 13. Over 70 people came on a Monday at 1:30pm to
learn the Glorious One-Pot Meal technique.

February 25 brought Elizabeth to Boulder's
Peppercorn cookware store on the Pearl St. Mall for an afternoon of demonstrations
for Boulderites.

Elizabeth's appearance on K-USA channel 9's Colorado & Company on
December 23 (see photo above) generated a surge in hits on this website and a lot of great
feedback from viewers. Thanks for watching!

Glorious One-Pot Meals debuted as the 4th best-selling non-fiction book
in The Sunday Denver Post's December 11, 2005 list of Local Best Sellers.
It remained in the top 5 non-fiction books for a run of 6 straight weeks.

The Tattered Cover sold 60 books at the December 3 booksigning/cooking
demonstration event in the Highlands Ranch store outside of Denver. There
is now a Glorious One-Pot Meals fan-club based in the store. (See photo

Almost
30 people attended a cooking demonstration at Wild Oats Community Marketplace
in Washington Park, CO on December 10, packing a classroom more accustomed
to seeing classes of 7-15 people.
